The
Yardbirds feat. Jimmy Page Vinyl Bootlegs Discography
Absolutely a part of history here. Similar to Led Zeppelin, many early
bootleg companies were involved seriously into producing Yardbirds'
unofficial material. Trade Mark Of Quality was one of the first labels
that started releasing some good stuff early in the 1970's. Their
"Golden Eggs" consisted of previously unreleased or rarely
available material from studio catalogue. The Amazing Kornyphone Record
Label's "Last Hurrah In The Big Apple" was their answer
to the withdrawned 1971 album and collectors quickly anticipated this
single album that is a straight copy of legit release. With the 1980's
the things were changed. Many new tapes were discovered and released.
The brightest examples are Glimpses' "Last Rave-Up In L.A."
and Della Quercia's "Broken Wings". The first one contains
some of Shrine Auditorium May 31st and June 1st, 1968 shows while
the second is a compilation that debuts with complete Stockholm 1967
radio broadcast and previously unreleased BBC session from March of
1968, where an early version of "Dazed And Confused" and
"White Summer" were performed and recorded.
