Valley were the first to release these tapes (under the title "Live
At The Royal Albert Hall") that were posted on the Royal Orleans
website. Beelzebub's is the second attempt at all these and it is
apparent at first listen that Beelzebub really cranked up the volume
over Empress Valley. The sound quality is of course very good but
again there is nothing new. A big surprise in this set is the bonus
DVD-R which contains alternate footage of this concert. This should
definitely appeal to all of the John Bonham fans out there since its
mostly footage of the drummer.

Sweden Mar. 14 '69. Comments: Italian bootleg. Deluxe gatefold card
sleeve with CD-Rs housed in a card sleeves. Picture discs. The first
disc is made up from two sources: the first is from the master of
the pre FM broadcast tape, that has been in circulation amongst collectors
for a while. More important is the second part of this first disc,
which has a longer source for the actual FM broadcast. This has the
Swedish Radio DJ's intro (with trendy and "with it" dripping
water sound effects in the background). The second disc contains the
complete audience recording for the concert, which has the opening
song and White Summer/Black Mountain Side, that were not on the radio
broadcast. The sound on this is acceptable, and is stated to be from
the master cassette. Some years ago a fan produced no labelled 2 CDR
release "1969 Scandinavian Tour....The Audience Recordings"
first made this source available. This was from a first gen. source,
and I think it sounds a fraction better than this new version which
is off the master.

Deluxe gatefold card sleeve with CD-Rs housed in a card sleeves. Picture
discs. Both these discs are sourced from the master tapes. The first
night at the Fillmore East in New York is from an alternate master
source, which is very similar to the well known one (and used on the
Empress Valley 2 CD release "New York In The Wind"), but
unfortunately does not have the opening tune up by the band and is
30 seconds shorter therefore. The second night, on 1st February, has
a little bit more tape than what has been circulating, and so this
recording is slightly longer than the Empress Valley version.

Deluxe triple gatefold card sleeve with CD-Rs housed in a card
sleeves. Picture discs. Beelzebub have remastered September 19, 1970
recording and it forms the first two discs on this release. The sound
on the original downloaded version was very good indeed, and the remastering
on this release slightly heightens and increases the sound quality.
It is very enjoyable to listen to and is worth seeking out. Also Beelzebub
have obtained the master for the Milan concert before it was brought
to a premature end, and both this recording, and a remastered version
are on one, third disc.

an article about "The Song Remains The Same" movie. Picture
discs. Over the last few years renowned fellow trainspotter Eddie
Edwards has used and freely made available all his vast knowledge
on the composition of the official releases for the three night end
to the 1973 North American Tour, at Madison Square Garden. His research
has uncovered what was used for "The Song Remains The Same"
and the "DVD" projects. He has also assembled, using both
audience and soundboard sources, releases of all three nights. The
first night is sadly incomplete, as both sources do not have the whole
show. However the 28th and 29th July concerts have near complete soundboard
recordings available. His releases have been doing the rounds as follows:
27th July "Something Completely Different", 28th July "It
Doesn't Get Any Cooler", and 29th July "A Long, Long, Long
Way From Home". The latter release was copied by Tarantura2000
as "Missing Doll". These three releases have now been remastered
and equalised by Beelzebub Records and released in a most attractive
card box set. What makes this release more attractive than previous
versions of these shows is an excellent sound quality, which is very
punchy and dynamic. Also, this is a great chance to have all three
MSG concerts gathered in one piece. Very recommended.

(in circulation) of a very young Led Zeppelin. Even though the band
had only been together a couple of months they sound like a well seasoned
band hungry for success and all that goes along with it. The first
disc contains the earliest circulated recording of Led Zeppelin Live.
Beezlebub Records have boosted the overall level of this recording
slightly and they have added a bit of low end to bring this recording
into the new millennium. The second disc contains a newly surfaced
recording of the band from the Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles, CA.

title for this release from Beelzebub comes from Luis Rey's book "Led

taking some of the abrasiveness off of the high-end and making it
much more easier to listen to.
