Luis Rey, "An Illustrated Exploration Of Underground Tapes", 1st thru 3rd edition, 1993-1997

Luis Rey is a long-time Led Zep collector. He also researched into every unofficial tape available. The 1st edition of his excellent book was a bestseller. Every Led Zeppelin concert is listed here with date, venue, songs and a description of a concert; contains tapes and bootlegs discography...plus some nice photos. If you want to have only one book on the subject, get this one! The following edition are updated versions.

Robert Godwin, "An Illustrated Collection Guide To Led Zeppelin", 1st to 3rd edition, 1994 to 1998

Although many new Japanese items that came out after 1998 are not included in it, the book reviews almost every important CD bootleg ever made. Each one is listed with date, venue, song listing, label/company, matrix #, sound rating, and cover picture. Personally I think this book is much more detailed than the famous Hot Wacks pressings.

Dave Lewis w/Simon Pallett, "Led Zeppelin: The Concert File", 1st and 2nd edition, 1997 and 2005

I think this book doesn't need my recommendation. Dave Lewis, a long-time Zeppelin's fan-club leader decided to publish a book and this is the one - everything about Led Zeppelin live and in studio can be found in it. The book contains stories about stuff that was going on during band's gigs and studio recordings. There are also many good photos and a list of the most important Led Zeppelin bootlegs. Sadly, the "re-vamped" 2nd version contains only a short info about solo projects. The 1st edition is a nice supplement for those interested in post-Led Zep material.
